MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join an excellent Contractor on a Fixed Term Basis in East London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operational HR activities in collaboration with HR colleagues, taking personal responsibility so that starters, contractual changes and leavers are processed in an accurate and timely way
  • Produce, analyse and report on data to measure and benchmark HR performance as required to support and challenge managers and improve performance across the business.
  • Provide HR support at formal meetings, hearings and appeals, and with recruitment/selection activities, as required.
  • Support HR project work by undertaking research, organising, planning, and delivering training and workshops, and other tasks, including managing projects as required.
  • Operate as an integral member of the HR team, keeping up to date with changes in employment legislation, case law updates and best practice, and proactively discussing updates and recommendations with HR colleagues.
  • Actively contribute to and promote high levels of employee engagement.

MMP Consultancy are working with a fantastic organisation to Portfolio Projects Manager to join them on a Fixed Term Basis, based in Kent.

Salary: £60,000 Per Annum

Please note this position offers Hybrid Working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the Excellent Services Programme, including new technologies and changes to working practices, to time and budget
  • Define and manage the portfolio of projects that deliver new solutions to agreed scopes, quality criteria, timetable and budgets
  • Deliver new technology solutions within scope, time and budget that deliver business value, address business challenges, are 'fit for purpose', contribute to the resolution and avoidance of potential issues and problems that might affect the performance of business functions whilst ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of business applications and data
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate successful delivery of portfolios and projects within the agreed parameters and ensure they are aligned with other organisational programmes and business priorities
  • Procure technology solutions, holding suppliers to account for the successful implementation of projects to agreed scope, quality, and timetable.
  • Rigorously manage third party suppliers' performance and dependencies to ensure best value and the appropriate performance standards
  • Ensure new technology solutions are successfully adopted by the business taking responsibility for end-to-end delivery from designing business requirements through to embedding with end users.
  • Proactively manage scope, resources, quality, timetabling, cost, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, configurations, tests, integrations, defects and releases with appropriate controls, mitigations, tolerances and escalations
  • Produce and update detailed programme and project documentation including charters, initiation documents, plans, backlogs, status reports, DRAID logs and trackers


Requirements:

  • Proven record leading projects and project portfolios to successfully deliver change and improvements through different approaches
  • Experience of delivering new ways of working and new systems
  • Knowledge and experience of portfolio and project management methodologies and tailoring these to organisational context
  • Expert knowledge of project management tools
  • Experience of project management tasks; particularly identifying technical requirements and designing solutions
  • History in business engagement, business analysis and planning, design, sourcing, transition and delivery of new technology and data capabilities
  • Ability to deliver quality results on scope, time, and budget
  • Ability to constructively challenge colleagues and partners to get the right outcome
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholder groups and third-party suppliers and build strong, effective and productive relationships

Pay Rate: £30.99 Per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively liaise between the Council, residents and contractors to ensure that resident requirements are met and any issues are promptly and suitably addressed.
  • Providing support to any vulnerable residents, you will work with carers and other relevant advocates to ensure that specific needs are taken account of and any issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, facilitate communications and coordinate activities to streamline operations, public communications, incident response and conflict resolution.
  • Deliver effective resident consultation and engagement, providing assurances at all levels that our buildings are compliant to all legislative requirements.
  • Developing and delivering effective communication with residents, liaising closely with contractor staff to assist in the smooth running of the programmes and the ongoing building management


Skills & Experience Required:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality property inspections and expert reports.
The Role:
As a Damp & Mould Surveyor, you will play a critical role in housing condition claims by conducting thorough inspections, producing expert reports, and supporting legal proceedings. You'll work independently and collaboratively, offering expert advice to stakeholders including landlords, tenants, and legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify disrepair and ensure compliance with legislation

  • Diagnose defects and recommend remedial works for Housing Condition claims

  • Prepare clear and accurate Schedules of Disrepair

  • Produce impartial expert witness reports in line with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules

  • Support clients through legal claims, offering professional technical advice

  • Attend site meetings, joint inspections, and court hearings where required

  • Stay up to date with legislation, case law, and best practices

  • Option to mentor junior surveyors and provide technical guidance

  • Advise legal teams on claims and settlement recommendations


About You:


  • Relevant surveying qualification (CIOB, HND, HNC or equivalent professional membership essential)

  • Solid experience in preparing Schedules of Disrepair for legal use

  • Strong knowledge of housing law, building regulations, and property legislation

  • Proven ability to write Part 35-compliant expert witness reports

  • Excellent technical understanding of building pathology

  • Familiarity with CPR and court procedures

  • Experience with disrepair reporting systems is an advantage

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to join an excellent organisation in East London on a Permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Attend Resident Surgeries and assist vulnerable people reporting repairs, keep residents and scheme managers up to date on progress
  • Organise consultation events and attend meetings as required
  • Identify vulnerabilities relating to individual residents and liaise with client's housing officers or support services where necessary. Work with our Performance Team to ensure and identified vulnerabilities are accurately recorded within the organisations systems.
  • Investigate, register all complaints and report in accordance with company and client procedures. Ensure all MP, Councillor enquiries and complaints are investigated and resolved efficiently and within target and advising residents and clients of their outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable residents and adapting style to meet the specific needs of individuals
  • Experience of working within a customer services environment is essential
  • Full Clean Driving license
  • Flexibility regarding travel and working at various sites, and attendance at evening meetings
