Community Safety Ranger (Dog Handler)

Up to £23 per hour

I am currently recruiting for a Community Safety Ranger (Dog Handler) to join a local authority based in the West of Essex. A full Job Description is available upon request.

Community Safety Ranger (Dog Handler) required to:

* Conduct high visibility foot and vehicle patrols in residential areas, parks and open spaces including areas where there are designated bylaws to provide reassurance, deter crime and anti-social behaviour and reduce the fear of crime. Frequently, but not always, working with a community safety dog alongside.

* Provide high standards of dog welfare to include feeding, grooming, exercising, maintaining the dog's good health and checking for illness and injury. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kennels at all times.

* Respond to alarm call outs and building break-ins to protect the council's interests and assets, as well as responding to calls to the council's Community Safety Team in relation to anti-social behaviour.

* During the paddling pool season (July - September), assist the Community Safety Team to deliver a safe, high-quality service as directed by the line manager. To include delivering equipment and chemicals to sites and, where necessary, administering chemicals (full training will be given) and providing practical support to Paddling Pool Attendants if required.

* Assist the wider work of the Community Safety Team, including community engagement; awareness raising and education; sighting warning notices in problem areas; support work to deter illegal encampments and rough sleepers; respond to enquiries from members of the public.
Pay Rate:

* £23.00p/h (umbrella rate)

Hours:

* 37 hours a week on a three-week rolling shift basis which includes a 9am start (earliest) and 10pm finish (latest)

* Week 1 - No Sat or Sun working
* Week 2 - Sat AM working only
* Week 3 - Sat and Sun working (rest days during the week)

* A Van (Equipped for Dog Handling)

Multi Trade Bricklayer

Up to £19 per hour

I am currently recruiting for a Multi Trade Bricklayer to join a West of Essex based contractor on an ongoing basis. A Basic DBS Check will need to be carried out for the successful Operative. My client is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Bricklayer with experience in social housing.

Multi Trade Bricklayer required to:
* Fencing works.
* Paving/slabbing works
* Installing bollards
* Brickwork
* Epoxy resin repairs
* Tiling
* Minor roofing works
* Paths repair/replacements
* Rendering & tarmac repairs
* Be customer focused
* Have social housing experience

Pay Rate:
* £19.00p/h (umbrella rate)

Hours:
* 37.5 hours per week (Mon to Fri)

Multi Trade Operative - CIS Payment (Own Van Required)

Up to £23 per hour

A great opportunity has arisen to work for a social housing contractor for a Multi Trade Operative on a Temp to Perm basis paying £23.00p/h (CIS). You must have access to your own van (ULEZ compliant) and tools. A designated patch will be given.

The successful candidate will be required to cover their own fuel; however, materials and congestion charge will be paid for by the client.

Please note that you will be given a parking permit. However, for parking outside of these areas, the cost will be covered for over £10.00 a day.

Pay Rate:
* £23.00p/h - (CIS Payment Available)

Hours:
*08:00am to 16:00pm

Please note you will only be covering on area based on your home address.

Multi Trade skills required:
