Customer Service Advisor

Up to £18.27 per hour

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor on a temporary basis based in East London.

You'll be the first point of contact in providing outstanding Customer Service to a diverse range of our customers and residents, over the phone and digital channels including emails and social media. In this varied role you'll be providing advice and assistance on a range of housing queries and booking repairs required at our properties, so excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Our focus is on finding a great service to our customers.

The Customer Service Centre is a busy and fast paced environment, and we are looking for people who thrive working under pressure to join our friendly and diverse team. You must be able to multi-task and can learn new systems and processes quickly. You will have a flexible and proactive approach towards work and demonstrate a real belief in providing good customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
* Providing excellent customer service to all residents in relation to Repairs and Housing enquiries.
* Raising repairs orders, whilst diagnosing at first call.
* Liaising with tradesmen to organise repairs calls.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve all enquiries raised, effectively communicating with the complainant the whole way through.
* Updating the database to ensure all queries and resolutions are logged.

Skills Required:
* Experience of working in a Social Housing/Repairs environment in a Customer Service capacity.
* Previous experience of diagnosing and raising repairs.
* Exceptional Customer Service skills.
* A good attitude and willingness to learn.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and challenging atmosphere.

Electrician

£38000 - £40000 per annum

A great new opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join a national contractor based in East London and Essex on a permanent basis, offering a salary of up to £40,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be available within short notice and have social housing experience. You must have a driving license as you will be supplied with a company van.

Pay Rate:

Disrepair Multi Trader

Up to £36000 per annum

A new opportunity has arisen to work for a national contractor for a Disrepair Multi Trader on a permanent basis paying £36,000 per annum plus call out, this will give potential earnings of up to £42,000 - £45,000k per annum. The successful Disrepair Multi Trader will be required to complete planned works within properties and communal areas in London (designated patch will be given). The successful Disrepair Multi Trader must be willing to travel however you the aim will be to keep you as local to your home as possible

.Pay Rate:
* £36,000 per annum plus call out (Potential earnings of £42k - £45k)
* Call out - £12.50 per day (standby) and £25ph (per call out)
* Mandatory - 1 week on call per month

Disrepair Multi Trade Skills required:
* Plumbing
* Carpenter

You will be required to complete reactive maintenance within properties and communal areas in East London. *To oversee the development of building safety cases for all identified high risk buildings within the scope of the Building Safety Act.
* A comprehensive digital records system is created and maintained as the basis for safety cases and demonstrating building safety compliance
* The golden thread principle is applied
* All high risk buildings in scope of the Act identified and in liaison with other departments the necessary digital records for those buildings gathered or created, including any necessary investigations or surveys.

Role Purpose:

Purpose Of Job:
To support the implementation of our Resident Involvement Strategy and Resident Consultation and Participation Policy with specific focus on developing the Residents' Scrutiny Panel, social media profile, Estate Management Board elections, residents newsletter, Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) Resident Involvement reaccreditation and the embedding of measuring social value within the Association.

Main Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of the Resident Involvement strategy by delivering a proactive and effective Resident Involvement service
* Provide clear, supportive and accurate resident Involvement advice to a range of stakeholders, including signposting where appropriate, to ensure awareness of customer involvement opportunities and promotion of the Groups other services.
* Work with the Head of Homes & Communities and Community Engagement Manager on preparing TPAS Resident Involvement submission
