MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to join an excellent organisation in East London on a Permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Attend Resident Surgeries and assist vulnerable people reporting repairs, keep residents and scheme managers up to date on progress
  • Organise consultation events and attend meetings as required
  • Identify vulnerabilities relating to individual residents and liaise with client's housing officers or support services where necessary. Work with our Performance Team to ensure and identified vulnerabilities are accurately recorded within the organisations systems.
  • Investigate, register all complaints and report in accordance with company and client procedures. Ensure all MP, Councillor enquiries and complaints are investigated and resolved efficiently and within target and advising residents and clients of their outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable residents and adapting style to meet the specific needs of individuals
  • Experience of working within a customer services environment is essential
  • Full Clean Driving license
  • Flexibility regarding travel and working at various sites, and attendance at evening meetings

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Repairs Administrator on a Temporary basis, in Kent.

The Planning Administrator will work closely with the Maintenance Team to ensure that all repairs and maintenance work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads. You will liaise with residents and contractors to ensure that all works are completed to a high standard.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input overdue jobs and completed tasks into relevant systems.
  • Ensure records are updated with completion details.
  • Identify jobs that need to be brought forward based on urgency and deadlines, maintaining an efficient workflow.
  • Reach out to tenants via phone and email to schedule and confirm repair appointments.
  • Provide clear information about the nature of repairs and expected timeframes, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
  • Handle repair requests and log them into the appropriate systems.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
  • Record updates and maintain accurate reports on ongoing repairs.
  • Organise and respond to incoming emails related to repairs and maintenance inquiries.
  • Prioritise urgent messages, flag important correspondence, and ensure timely follow-ups to maintain smooth communication.


Experience Required:

  • Experience in working in a responsive repair's environment.
  • Experience of raising, monitoring and recording work orders though a relevant housing / repair management system.
  • Experience in coordinating and following up on work programmes.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement

Purpose
The Surveying Manager leads a team of surveyors and contractors to deliver effective, resident focussed,
value for money building surveying services. This includes stock condition surveys, diagnostic
inspections, complex casework, and resource allocation.
Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, the Surveying Manager ensures that our clients homes are safe, warm, dry and meet all requirements.
Main duties & responsibilities
Leadership
Lead our clients surveying activities
Develop a high-performing, customer-centric team

Promote a safety-first culture: ensure the team act up on health, safety, and wellbeing concerns
Represent the Surveying Team at Estate Boards, Committees, and forums
Service Delivery

Scrutiny and authorisation of variation orders
Implementation of robust quality control measures including post-inspections
Supervision of contractors on site
Preparation of technical reports, detailed specifications and scheme design drawings

Management of party wall, right to light, and alteration applications
Investigation and effective resolution of complaints

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operational HR activities in collaboration with HR colleagues, taking personal responsibility so that starters, contractual changes and leavers are processed in an accurate and timely way
  • Produce, analyse and report on data to measure and benchmark HR performance as required to support and challenge managers and improve performance across the business.
  • Provide HR support at formal meetings, hearings and appeals, and with recruitment/selection activities, as required.
  • Support HR project work by undertaking research, organising, planning, and delivering training and workshops, and other tasks, including managing projects as required.

The Role:
As a Damp & Mould Surveyor, you will play a critical role in housing condition claims by conducting thorough inspections, producing expert reports, and supporting legal proceedings. You'll work independently and collaboratively, offering expert advice to stakeholders including landlords, tenants, and legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify disrepair and ensure compliance with legislation

  • Diagnose defects and recommend remedial works for Housing Condition claims

  • Prepare clear and accurate Schedules of Disrepair

  • Produce impartial expert witness reports in line with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules

  • Support clients through legal claims, offering professional technical advice

  • Attend site meetings, joint inspections, and court hearings where required

  • Stay up to date with legislation, case law, and best practices

  • Option to mentor junior surveyors and provide technical guidance

  • Advise legal teams on claims and settlement recommendations


About You:


  • Relevant surveying qualification (CIOB, HND, HNC or equivalent professional membership essential)

  • Solid experience in preparing Schedules of Disrepair for legal use

  • Strong knowledge of housing law, building regulations, and property legislation

  • Proven ability to write Part 35-compliant expert witness reports

  • Excellent technical understanding of building pathology

  • Familiarity with CPR and court procedures

  • Experience with disrepair reporting systems is an advantage

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
