Leasehold Officer

Up to £32260 per annum

MMP Consultancy are currently looking for a Leasehold Officer to join an excellent Housing Association in East London on a 6 month basis.

Main Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of service charge accounts, working to targets set by the Collections Manager
* Monitor individual accounts, determining and taking appropriate action to ensure that account holders pay service charges in accordance with the obligations under the lease
* Authorise and check payment plans
* Maintain contact with account holders through letter, email, telephone, or face to face as appropriate
* Advise the account holder on the legal and statutory basis of service charges as appropriate
* Instruct court/ recovery action as necessary

Key Knowledge & Experience:
* Good knowledge of leasehold issues, including but not limited to service charges, repairs and maintenance responsibilities, current law and legislation
* Broad knowledge and awareness of current issues and developments affecting the management of housing
* Experience in leasehold management and practice, or of arrears management
* Experience in working as part of a customer facing team, answering queries through a variety of channels within a customer focused organisation
* Experience of liaising with resident, homeowner, or comparable stakeholder groups
* Experience of working with property management and accounting IT systems

MMP are seeking are looking for a Construction Services Manager who will be responsible for all contractual compliance across our clients development programme. The role will involve the management and appointment of all Contractors and Consultants engaged by the Development Directorate, ensuring construction contracts and technical specifications adhere to project gateways, managing our clients standard JCT D&B contract amendments.
The role will also involve the management of two Fire Safety Project Officers along with ensuring fire safety compliance across all construction projects undertaken by the Development Directorate.
Additionally, the Construction Services Manager will lead on the implementation and management of processes relating to Building Information Modelling (BIM) for the Development Directorate.
What you'll need to succeed:
Ideally, you will degree qualified in a relevant construction discipline (Civil, Environmental, Engineering, Architecture or Project Management) and a member of a professional institution (RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIAT or equivalent). Additionally, you will have a strong understanding and experience in procuring Contractors and Consultants operating under varied contract models as well as a sound technical knowledge of buildings and fire safety.

Capital Projects Manager

£50377.00 - £60000 per annum

MMP Consultancy is seeking a client-side Capital Projects Manager to join the Estates & Capital Development team of an Oxfordshire-based college on a 2 year fixed-term basis. The salary range is between £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.

The successful candidate will lead the effective management of college capital projects, collaborating closely with college managers, staff, students, and design teams. Their role will involve ensuring that high-quality schemes are developed within approved budgets, timescales, and in alignment with the college's policies and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the client briefing process, accurately identifying requirements and project scope
* Appoint and manage multi-disciplinary design teams, coordinating the design process within budget constraints
* Procure main contractors and project manage large schemes in an education environment
* Liaise with external agencies to gain statutory approvals
* Manage project risks, value engineering, and change control
* Develop and deliver minor projects programmes
* Act as a client-side project manager, ensuring expected outcomes and benefits are delivered


Requirements:
* Experience in construction management or related field
* Ideally, a degree in Construction Management or equivalent
* Membership of a professional body and a project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2) desirable
* Background in further education advantageous
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
* Proficient or willing to learn AutoCAD and MS Project
