    We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading housing association in Hampshire, for a dedicated and customer-focused Lettings Assistant. This full-time, fixed-term contract role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a committed team, ensuring first-class service delivery to customers and colleagues.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Managing the process from tenancy termination to property advertisement, ensuring seamless transitions.
    - Updating housing management systems to ensure compliance with regulations, accurate reporting, and performance monitoring.
    - Work closely with local authorities and internal teams to minimize void periods and ensure efficient lettings.
    - Provide essential support to colleagues, contribute to process improvements, and help deliver a top-tier lettings service.

    MMP Consultancy are working with a fantastic organisation to recruit a Head of Financial Reporting & Accounting to join them based in Liverpool.

    Responsibilities:
    * Supported by advisors, establish fair value of net assets acquired and prepare acquisition accounting entries and notes to the financial statements.
    * Liaise with the acquisition's incumbent auditors to execute a plan that enables statutory accounts sign off within audit timetable.
    * Take a leadership role in guiding the Financial Reporting function to achieve the audit timetable.
    * Lead a gap analysis of accounting policies between the acquisition.
    * Create a plan to harmonise policies, or document ongoing differences.
    * Ensuring comprehensive accountability for monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and governing central risks and control over the acquisitions balance sheet.
    * Managing technical and central accounting areas such as provisions, insurance, pensions, property, intercompany, VAT, CIS, Apprentice Levy
    * You will ensure that all reconciliations are fully reconciled, documented, evidenced, and approved.
    * Additionally, you will identify and follow up on high-risk areas through detailed balance sheet reviews.
    * Provide solutions for technical accounting scenarios to commercial teams.
    * Lead adoption of IFRS15/16 for the acquisition and ensure transition with wider teams.
    * Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes
    * Manage cash flow position, short and long term, collaborating with wider teams.
    * Manage capex spend approvals and compliance.
    * Manage and maximise R&D positions, collaborating with external parties.
    * Lead the audit process, collaborating with the wider group and Finance team.
    * Provide up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and act as internal technical lead, liaising with external advisors as appropriate.
    * Lead author of all technical accounting papers as required.
    * Manage external relationships with banks, auditors and advisors.
