Job Description

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Repairs Administrator on a Temporary basis, in Kent.

The Planning Administrator will work closely with the Maintenance Team to ensure that all repairs and maintenance work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads. You will liaise with residents and contractors to ensure that all works are completed to a high standard.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input overdue jobs and completed tasks into relevant systems.
  • Ensure records are updated with completion details.
  • Identify jobs that need to be brought forward based on urgency and deadlines, maintaining an efficient workflow.
  • Reach out to tenants via phone and email to schedule and confirm repair appointments.
  • Provide clear information about the nature of repairs and expected timeframes, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
  • Handle repair requests and log them into the appropriate systems.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
  • Record updates and maintain accurate reports on ongoing repairs.
  • Organise and respond to incoming emails related to repairs and maintenance inquiries.
  • Prioritise urgent messages, flag important correspondence, and ensure timely follow-ups to maintain smooth communication.


Experience Required:

  • Experience in working in a responsive repair's environment.
  • Experience of raising, monitoring and recording work orders though a relevant housing / repair management system.
  • Experience in coordinating and following up on work programmes.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Providing customer service to residents and customers.
  • Arranging appointments for residents with Trades people in a cost effective and organised manner.
  • Dealing with queries from residents, changing appointments.
  • Rescheduling appointments using our planning tools.
  • Logging current jobs onto our job management system/database.
  • Working with Supervisors and trades people to organise and schedule work.

Up to £27000.00 per annum

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to join an excellent organisation in East London on a Permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Attend Resident Surgeries and assist vulnerable people reporting repairs, keep residents and scheme managers up to date on progress
  • Organise consultation events and attend meetings as required
  • Identify vulnerabilities relating to individual residents and liaise with client's housing officers or support services where necessary. Work with our Performance Team to ensure and identified vulnerabilities are accurately recorded within the organisations systems.
  • Investigate, register all complaints and report in accordance with company and client procedures. Ensure all MP, Councillor enquiries and complaints are investigated and resolved efficiently and within target and advising residents and clients of their outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable residents and adapting style to meet the specific needs of individuals
  • Experience of working within a customer services environment is essential
  • Full Clean Driving license
  • Flexibility regarding travel and working at various sites, and attendance at evening meetings

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the Excellent Services Programme, including new technologies and changes to working practices, to time and budget
  • Define and manage the portfolio of projects that deliver new solutions to agreed scopes, quality criteria, timetable and budgets
  • Deliver new technology solutions within scope, time and budget that deliver business value, address business challenges, are 'fit for purpose', contribute to the resolution and avoidance of potential issues and problems that might affect the performance of business functions whilst ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of business applications and data

  • Experience of delivering new ways of working and new systems

  • Expert knowledge of project management tools

An experienced Public Sector Housing head of service with Repairs and Maintenance experience from a strategic and operational perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Deliver the strategic direction for responsive repairs, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory standards.

Service Transformation: Lead the transformation and continuous improvement of repairs services, incorporating modern working practices, digital tools, and resident engagement.

Expert Advisory: Act as subject matter expert on repairs delivery, advising senior leadership, the board, and external partners.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
