Community Safety Ranger (Dog Handler) required to:

* Conduct high visibility foot and vehicle patrols in residential areas, parks and open spaces including areas where there are designated bylaws to provide reassurance, deter crime and anti-social behaviour and reduce the fear of crime. Frequently, but not always, working with a community safety dog alongside.

To include delivering equipment and chemicals to sites and, where necessary, administering chemicals (full training will be given) and providing practical support to Paddling Pool Attendants if required.

* Assist the wider work of the Community Safety Team, including community engagement; awareness raising and education; sighting warning notices in problem areas; support work to deter illegal encampments and rough sleepers; respond to enquiries from members of the public.
