Sophia joined MMP in May 2021 with previous recruitment experience as a Resourcer and, within 6 months, was promoted to Recruitment Consultant. Sophia is now responsible for delivering Maintenance and Trades recruitment across East London and Essex, building on her own client and candidate relationships.

MMP go above and beyond to celebrate achievements no matter how big or small. Specialism: 1 General Multi-Trade | 1 Plumbing-Biased
Contract: Temporary (2-3 months)
Location: East London (Properties Within Walking Distance)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Rate: £20.36 per hour (Umbrella)

We're looking for two experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to join a responsive maintenance team in East London-one with a plumbing bias, the other with a general multi-trade background. Work will be carried out across social housing properties within walking distance.

Key Duties:

  • Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance in occupied and void social housing properties
  • Plumbing-biased role: Taps, WCs, leaks, pipework, and general plumbing tasks
  • General role: Carpentry, tiling, plastering, painting, and basic plumbing
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service


Requirements:

  • Experience in social housing maintenance is essential
  • Relevant trade qualifications or proven experience
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • CSCS card (preferred)
  • A Basic DBS Check will be required

Multi Trade Carpenter

£36000 - £38000 per annum

Job Title: Multi Trade Carpenter

Location: East London
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi Trade Carpenter to join a well-established contractor based in East London. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £38,000 per year, working across a variety of occupied social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance in occupied homes
  • Perform a range of trades including:
  • Carpentry (primary trade)
  • Basic Plumbing
  • Plastering
  • Tiling
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety guidelines
Requirements:

About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Operative to help keep properties safe, functional, and welcoming. You'll carry out day-to-day repairs, support larger maintenance projects, and ensure a high standard of service across all sites.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support external contractors on complex repairs and void works

Voids Supervisor

Up to £43000.00 per annum

Technical Supervisor - Voids Team

Location: Dagenham
Type: Full-time

I'm looking for an experienced Technical Supervisor to lead a Voids team, overseeing property repairs and refurbishments for unoccupied homes. You'll manage operatives and subcontractors, ensuring high performance, compliance, and excellent service delivery.

  • Supervise repairs and voids works, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Drive team performance and meet operational KPIs
  • Maintain accurate job records using PDA and Accuserve systems

About You

  • Supervise teams and specialist subcontractors
  • Manage job scheduling, inspections, and reporting
  • Support service improvements and performance targets
  • Handle customer queries and ensure excellent service delivery
  • Attend stakeholder meetings and provide reports/MI as needed

You will be required to:

Job Purpose:
Join a Housing Association as an Electrician, responsible for delivering responsive and void electrical repairs in line with 18th Edition regulations. You'll ensure repairs are carried out efficiently, while supporting planned installations and maintaining electrical compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out responsive and void electrical repairs to the latest regulations.
  • Support planned electrical works, including Aids and Adaptations and Kitchens.
