Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to plan layout and ensure precise tile alignment.
- Cut tiles using hand tools or power tools to fit around obstacles and into corners.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives or waterproofing.
- Lay tiles in accordance with design plans and customer specifications.
- Apply grout and sealants and clean finished surfaces.
- Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and site supervisors.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean workspace.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in tiling, preferably within the social housing sector.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Full UK driving license (maximum 6 points)
- Willingness to undergo a standard DBS check upon successful placement.
