Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Operation: Safely drive and operate a drainage tanker, ensuring compliance with all road safety and transport regulations.
  • Drainage Services: Perform suction and jetting operations to clear blockages and maintain drainage systems.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide professional and courteous service to clients, addressing their drainage needs efficiently.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete job sheets and reports, maintaining detailed records of services provided.

Essential Qualifications

  • HGV Class 2 Licence: Valid and up-to-date.
  • Drainage Experience: Proven background in the drainage industry, with hands-on experience in tanker operations.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate suction and jetting equipment effectively.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Salary: £23.41 per hour (umbrella rate)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tiler to join a reputable housing provider's repairs and maintenance team in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of high-quality housing and become an integral part of a growing team with long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mark surfaces to plan layout and ensure precise tile alignment.
  • Cut tiles using hand tools or power tools to fit around obstacles and into corners.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives or waterproofing.
  • Lay tiles in accordance with design plans and customer specifications.
  • Apply grout and sealants and clean finished surfaces.
  • Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and site supervisors.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean workspace.


Requirements:

Key Duties:

  • Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance in occupied and void social housing properties
  • Plumbing-biased role: Taps, WCs, leaks, pipework, and general plumbing tasks
  • General role: Carpentry, tiling, plastering, painting, and basic plumbing
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service


Requirements:

  • Experience in social housing maintenance is essential
  • Relevant trade qualifications or proven experience
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • CSCS card (preferred)
  • A Basic DBS Check will be required
