Job Description

We're hiring a skilled Electrician to join the Estates department for one of our NHS clients based in Cornwall areas. As an Electrical Craftsman, you'll maintain and repair electrical systems in the hospital and associated buildings, directly supporting patient care. The role is working 37 hours per week at £19.64 per hour with overtime available with inflated rates. The role is for a period of 3 month with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical plant and services.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical installations and equipment.
  • Conduct fault finding on electric motors and control gear.
  • Ensure safe operation of fire alarm systems and respond to fire calls.
  • Reset lift control systems and carry out minor mechanical work.
  • Follow instructions, drawings, and specifications independently.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry techniques and attend training courses.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and trust policies.

Requirements:

  • Recognized electrical engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in fault finding, installation, and maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of lift control systems and 415V systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare/NHS environment is desirable.

My client is looking for a Trades Supervisor on a permanent basis offering a salary of £40,000 Van and Annual Bonus. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Plasterer to work for a Social Housing Contractor based in South East London on a permanent basis offering a salary of £34,000 - £38,000. The successful Trades Operatives will be able to work in occupied properties carrying out reactive repairs.

Location:
* South East London (Lewisham and Southwark)

Working hours
* 08:00am to 17:00pm
* Up to 7 Jobs per Day

You will be required to:
* Carry out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, occupied.
* Provide your own basic hand and power tools.
* Optional out of hours.
* Have experience working within social housing properties.

You will be supplied with:
* Company van

Salary: £23.41 per hour (umbrella rate)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tiler to join a reputable housing provider's repairs and maintenance team in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of high-quality housing and become an integral part of a growing team with long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mark surfaces to plan layout and ensure precise tile alignment.
  • Cut tiles using hand tools or power tools to fit around obstacles and into corners.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives or waterproofing.
  • Lay tiles in accordance with design plans and customer specifications.
  • Apply grout and sealants and clean finished surfaces.
  • Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and site supervisors.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean workspace.

  • Proven experience in tiling, preferably within the social housing sector.
