Aliesha Rainey

Principal Consultant – Maintenance & Trades

Aliesha has worked with MMP Consultancy since September 2020 as a Consultant and quickly progressed to Senior Consultant in June 2021. Her quick progression is a testament to her hard work and ongoing support from the management team within MMP. Aliesha’s drive and passion saw her achieve Top Permanent Biller for 2021 and Employee of the Year 2021. Previously Aliesha worked with a social housing contractor as an operations Manager. Her background and experience have given the entire Trades and Labour team a wealth of experience with client expectations, understanding, and market knowledge. Her core focus on new business development allows her to build new long-term relationships whilst maintaining the highest level of customer care for her existing clients.

When Aliesha is not doing what she does best (recruiting), she enjoys travelling, experiencing different cultures and architecture, fine wine, dining with her friends, and enjoying country walk with her family. She also enjoys long weekend breaks spent on Brighton seafront or visiting her sister and Nephew in Berlin.

Job Title: Contracts Manager - West (West England)

Region: West England - Covering Bristol to Southampton

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead operations across our West England region, managing delivery of high-volume social housing and planned maintenance contracts from Bristol to Southampton.
This is a key leadership role overseeing multiple sites and a team of approximately 10 staff. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong organisational skills, capable of driving performance and maintaining excellent client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract delivery across multiple sites in the western region
  • Lead and manage a team of site managers, supervisors, and support staff
  • Ensure all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Monitor KPIs, compliance, and health & safety standards
  • Support tendering, resource planning, and operational strategy


Requirements

  • Proven experience in contracts management within social housing or property maintenance
  • Strong leadership and multi-site management skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and client-facing abilities
  • Comfortable managing high-volume workloads across large geographic areas
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

Contracts Manager Roofing

Job Title: Roofing Contracts Manager (Flat Roofing)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum £5,000 car allowance
Location: Based from Barnet Head Office, with site coverage across London and the South East
Sector: Roofing (Flat Roofing Focus)

We are seeking an experienced and driven Roofing Contracts Manager with a strong background in flat roofing to join our team based at our Barnet Head Office. This is a pivotal role in our operations team, responsible for managing and delivering flat roofing contracts across London and the South East.
You will work in partnership with our existing Contracts Manager, who oversees pitched roofing works, ensuring expert leadership across our growing roofing portfolio. This is a key opportunity to make an impact within a dynamic and expanding company.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of flat roofing projects from pre-start to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate labour, materials, sub-contractors, and suppliers for multiple ongoing projects.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants, maintaining excellent working relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.
  • Manage project documentation including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports.
  • Support in tendering, estimating, and contract negotiations where required.
  • Mentor and lead site teams, promoting a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role with a specific focus on flat roofing.
  • Sound technical knowledge of flat roofing systems, including built-up felt, single ply, liquid, and hot melt systems.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
