Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Trades Supervisor to work for a national contractor working within the South East London area. My client is looking for a Trades Supervisor on a permanent basis offering a salary of £40,000 - £42,000 Van and Annual Bonus. The successful Trades Supervisor will be required to have experience working within a repairs and maintenance environment and be able to supervise a team of operatives.

Pay Rate:

* £40,000 - £42,000 Van & Benefits (Annual Bonus)

The Trades Supervisor will be required to:

* Supervise a team of operatives
* Have knowledge of a Voids and Disrepair environment
* Prioritise and allocate works to optimise available resources
* Have experience of managing a team
* Have experience in the use of SORs, pricing and coding works
* Have health and safety knowledge and experience
* Develop relationships with colleagues and support them with growth targets
* Be responsible for achieving contract excellence
* Ensure a high standard of communication is maintained with the client, customers & colleagues

Wet Multi Trade Operative

Up to £21.4 per hour Van & Fuel card


A new opportunity has arisen to work for a Social Housing Contractor for a Wet Multi Trade Operative on a temp to perm basis. The successful Wet Multi Trade Operative will be required to work within the repairs team completing property maintenance in Croydon. You will be supplied with a company van and fuel card.
Pay Rate:

  • £21.40ph (CIS)


Working Hours - 42.5 hours per week (Mon - Fri)
Wet Multi Trade Skills required:

  • Plastering
  • Tiling
  • Painting and decorating
  • Use of a PDA to manage and record daily work.


Qualifications Required:

In this vital role, you will assist with property clearances, cleaning, garden maintenance, graffiti removal, and other general labouring duties to help maintain our homes and communities to a high standard.

Key Duties Include:

  • Clearing and cleaning vacated properties
  • Delivering and collecting materials and items
  • Removing waste, furniture, and debris from properties

Repairs Supervisor

A great new opportunity has arisen for a Repairs Supervisor to join a main social housing contractor on a temporary ongoing basis based in Walton-on-Thames. This role will be paid at £27.00 per hour (CIS OR Umbrella) with a van & fuel card supplied. You will be required to supervise a team of trade operatives and subcontractors whilst working closely with the Contracts Management team.
Working Hours Mon - Fri - 8am - 17:00pm with a half hour break

Gas Engineer

Up to £44554.00 per annum

My client is looking for a Plumbing and Heating Engineer to ensure the safety and comfort of the client's tenants by delivering high-quality heating and plumbing services in compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs, servicing, and installations of gas and wet heating systems.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing issues across the client's properties.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and Gas Safe guidance to ensure tenant safety.
  • Collaborate with planners, service delivery teams, managers, and contractors to resolve customer service issues.
  • Deliver excellent customer service in line with the client's standards.
  • Maximise first-time fix rates by managing van stock and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Participate in an optional on-call rota to support emergency repairs 24/7, 365 days a year.
  • Take ownership of personal development, staying up to date with legislation and technical updates.
  • Monitor and improve personal performance based on feedback and objectives.
  • Perform other duties appropriate to the role.
  • Act as a role model for the client's values.

Performance Measures:

  • Timely completion of jobs within corporate targets.

Person Specification:

Expertise:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in gas servicing, breakdown, or installation (including training).
  • Preferably 3 years' plumbing experience (including training).
  • Proficient with mobile working technology (e.g., tablets).
  • Skilled in dynamic risk assessments.
  • Strong communication skills (face-to-face and telephone).
