Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Multi Trader to join a social housing contractor on a temporary ongoing basis covering South London postcodes around London. A basic DBS Check will need to be carried out if successful.

Multi Trader Duties:

Carry out carry out a range of carpentry, plumbing, tiling, patch plastering and decorating repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, voids and occupied.

The Successful Multi Trader will be required to:

Ensure works are completed at a high standard within given time frames

Carry out works allocated by appointments

Have a valid UK Driving Licence

Pay Rate:

Temp - £20ph (CIS or Umbrella)

Hours:

45 hours per week (Mon to Fri) 8:00am - 17:00pm with a half hour break

You will be supplied with:

A van

Fuel card

PDA System

The successful Multi Trade Carpenter will be available within short notice, have social housing experience and must have a driving license as you will be supplied with a van and fuel card.

    Working Hours are Mon - Fri - 39 hours per week

    8:30am - 17:00 Mon - Thu and 8:30am - 16:00 on a Friday

    Multi Trade Duties:

    Up to £55000 per annum

    MMP Consultancy is seeking a Hard FM Contract Manager to join an FM Company a permanent basis. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of NHS healthcare sites, ambulance stations, and other public buildings across Surrey, Kent, Essex and East London. Travel to sites on occasion with working from home is available. The salary is £55,000 plus a £5,472 per annum car allowance.

    Key Responsibilities:
    * Oversee Hard FM services for a variety of healthcare sites, including clinics, healthy living centres, ambulance stations, and public buildings.
    * Manage a team of 3 Service Managers, 4 Supervisors, and 13 maintenance operatives, ensuring excellent service delivery.
    * Ensure statutory and mandatory compliance with current legislation, HTM's, and codes of practice. Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure contract performance.
    * Oversee contract profit targets, control monthly costs, and provide detailed financial reports.
    * Identify and mitigate risks across contract operations.
    * Attend contract monitoring meetings and hold reviews with senior management, ensuring operational performance and compliance are up to standard.

    Candidate Requirements:
    * Proven experience in healthcare contract management.
    * Multi-site contract management experience, particularly in managing directly employed maintenance teams.
    * Strong leadership skills with a focus on team building and succession planning.
    * Expertise in handling large contracts with varied sites, including hospitals, clinics, and public buildings.

    MMP Consultancy are looking for a Fire Safety Coordinator to join an excellent Local Authority in South London on a temporary basis.
    Purpose Of Job.
    To share responsibility to administer and manage the fire risk assessment programme for all relevant buildings within the borough, including inspection programmes, to ensure compliance is achieved and at all times ensuring adherence to the Council's legal and mandatory obligations.
    Key Responsibilities:
    * To develop and manage overall programme and manage the collation of compliance actions derived from annual visits.
    * To manage and administer the programme of fire risk assessments and other fire safety related matters ensuring we meet our legal obligation at all times. This will include managing the fire safety surveyor's visits and prioritising actions to ensure the business needs are met.
    * Responsible for recording and evidencing compliance with the Council's legal obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Manage workloads of Fire Surveyors to ensure maximum use of resources.
    * Manage existing IT systems and develop new where and when required. Responsible for regular reviews to ensure that they remain fit for purpose in accordance with legislation and any subsequent legal amendments.
    * Provide regular reports to senior management of levels of compliance, highlighting areas of concern and developing remedial actions to mitigate any risks.
    * Responsible for managing and reporting on data from fire risk assessments and compiling risk actions to other business units and departments, including target and date setting.
    * Responsible for monitoring and updating fire databases, ensuring information flow to other corporate systems such as APEX.
    * Responsible for liaising with external health and safety bodies including HSE and London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority to mitigate risks and provide service improvements.
    * Responsible for compiling packages works for investments works, investment programmes, and other fire safety related projects as detailed in fire risk assessments and other assessments and surveys.
    * Responsible for liaising with internal bodies, such as Building Control and Planning, in order to ensure statutory requirements are met.
