Job Description

I am currently recruiting for an Electrician to join a social housing contractor on a temporary ongoing basis covering areas in Croydon. The successful candidate will be available within short notice and have social housing experience. You must have a driving license as you will be supplied with a company van and fuel card.

Pay Rate:

£24ph CIS ( 45 Hours per week ) Mon - Fri 8:00am - 17:00pm

You will be required to:

*Carry out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, voids and occupied

*Carry out electrical repairs EICRs and complete NICEIC Certificates

*Ensure works are completed at a high standard within given time frames

*Carry out works allocated by appointments

Qualifications:

*City & Guilds and or/ equivalent e.g NVQ

*BS 7617: 18th Edition

*Basic DBS Check

    * Recognised traditional or modern apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing, CGLI /NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing Mechanical Engineering / or equivalent qualification or experience.
    * Formal apprenticeship or craft trained equivalent.
    * Have an understanding of Legionnaires Disease and its control.
    * To have knowledge of BMES system
    * Driving License
