Job Description

MMP Consultancy are working with a fantastic organisation to recruit Compliance Contracts Officer to join them on a temporary basis, based in Kent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and management of Asbestos Surveying and Asbestos Removal contracts, along with any other small compliance-related contracts, ensuring compliance policies and procedures are followed.
  • Provide regular updates and support to the Building Safety Manager on contract outcomes against the programme, including KPIs, budget, contract meetings, and general progress all within the contractual framework.
  • Undertake procurement exercises with the Building Safety Manager, and Procurement Manager for the compliance contracts.
  • Ensure systems are continuously updated including but not limited to the Asbestos Register, Asbestos Management Plan, Housing and Asset System, CRM, and Documents Management.
  • Raising and completing orders, organising inspections, processing payment, and carrying out other support tasks such as word processing, correspondence, specifications, and providing general support to the Building Safety Manager within the Asset Team.
  • Attend relevant webinars, courses, and collaborative networks to ensure that legislation and regulation changes are incorporated into our Policies and procedures.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in asbestos contract management is essential.
  • Detailed knowledge of building pathology
  • Understanding of compliance activities within social housing and ability to manage compliance contracts.
  • Experience in using a variety of JCT and partnering contracts with the ability to undertake a procurement exercise.
  • Previous experience using systems such as CX or Keystone would be an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate and influence contractors, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in dealing effectively with customer complaints and able to demonstrate an understanding of what provides excellent customer service.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, along with the ability to prioritise the workload.

    Skills & Abilities:

    * Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle daily.
    * Good standard of numeracy and literacy- minimum of grade c or equivalent.

    MMP Consultancy are working with a fantastic organisation to recruit a Communications & Marketing Assistant to join them on a Permanent Basis, based in Kent.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Be a key point of contact within the team, managing the tasks, mailboxes and project plans that support the delivery of the 2022-2024 communications and marketing strategy.
    * Support the external and internal communications partners in the delivery of their yearly communications and marketing plan.
    * Co-ordinate tasks and projects across the service, maintaining databases and campaign plans, as well as content management across various platforms including Umbraco and Interact.
    * Produce creative content for the team, including the design of assets, production of video or audio content and photography. This can either be produced internally or with partner agencies and freelancers.

    MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Scheduler to join an excellent Housing Association in Kent on a temp to perm basis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Act as the key leader for specific patches within the Scheduling Diary.
    * Liaise directly with residents and operatives to book new appointments or follow on works and ensure that works are diagnosed and scheduled correctly to achieve a first time fix target and to improve productivity.
    * Manage the repairs raised and administer any scheduling changes to the diary, identifying training needs within the Property Administration team and CSC and keeping residents updated.
    * Deal with resident queries in relation to repairs that are escalated to the Direct Services admin team.
    * Work closely with the Lead Technicians to ensure all repairs raised are attended to within the Service Level Agreements and KPI'S are met.
    * Have control over appointments with residents and Contractors/DLO and ensure that these are met with the assistance of the Property Administration Team.
    * Oversee all urgent and emergency jobs to ensure works are raised and completed by the Property Administration team, within target and relevant databases updated.
    * To ensure that any dealings with residents and stakeholders are professional, friendly and effective.
    * Ensure compliance with our financial procedures are followed for all jobs authorized and invoiced and that the average cost per property is in line with forecasted budget.
    * Ensure maintenance procedures are up to date and are implemented and being followed by the CSC and the Property Administration Team.

    Skills / Qualifications:

    * Experience of scheduling work in a maintenance environment
    * Experience of delivering a front line, customer focussed service
    * Experience of working in a housing management or maintenance environment
    * Experience of working on an inner city, multi-cultural environment and working closely with tenants
    * Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well
