Your role includes maintaining mechanical systems, ensuring safety compliance, and providing technical expertise. The role will be working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, earning £24 per hour (Umbrella). The successful candidate will be required to work on a call out rota which will be one in every three weeks.

Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance
• Flushing blockages
• Repairing broken or faulty equipment

• Perform reactive, routine, and preventative maintenance and testing

Qualifications and Skills:

The successful Trades Operative will be required too:

Key Accountabilities will include:

I am currently looking for an Estates Services Manager on a contract basis for a housing provider based in Tower Hamlets. My client is looking for an immediately available Estates Services Manager.

Pay Rate:

• £25.00ph (umbrella rate)

Hours:

• Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

You will be required to:

• Operational responsibility for management and delivery of estates services delivered by the In-house Mobile Estates Cleaning Team and by external contractors.
• Estates services including cleaning, caretaking, grounds maintenance, refuse, concierge services, external window cleaning, tree management, parking and pest control services provided to tenants and leaseholders and maintaining cleanliness of community centres and offices owned by the housing association
• Responsible for setting and managing the service charge budgets and ensuring value for money for all residents.
• The post-holder is responsible for all aspects of contract management for externally procured estates services, service charges and for ensuring that effective business continuity arrangements are in place.
• Responsibility for health and safety, fleet management.

MMP Consultancy are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a Social Housing contractor on a temporary ongoing basis paying £32.00 per hour CIS. This role will be overseeing planned works of Facade Panels and will be based working around Walsall and Wolverhampton.

Pay rate: £32 per hour

Working hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 17:00pm

Key Accountabilities Will Include Responsible for input into and Programming the works/short-term programming of works.

• Manage Operatives, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to ensure quality control is maintained along with Health and safety at all times.
• Attend pre and post-inspection works and advise on appropriate action and job requirements, and assist with design solutions. This resulting in the successful delivery and handover of schemes.
• Carry out Weekly Site Progress reports per scheme that will be file electronically as well as submitting to Project Manager.
• Ensure that once works are completed, the full and completed job packs are sent to the Project Manager at the office along with completion details to guarantee a swift invoicing procedure to eliminate WIP (work In Progress) & certify cash flow.

Qualifications required:

• Asbestos Awareness UKATA or IATP, GOLD CSCS or above, CIH Certificate in Managing Housing Maintenance, SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
• A basic DBS check will be carried out.
