Job Description

MMP Consultancy are looking for an Income Officer to join an excellent Housing Association in South London on a Permanent basis.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide an effective, efficient and responsive revenue service to residents on a patch, maximising income and sustaining tenancies.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and service improvements.
* Work across the Housing Services to ensure wider work plan objectives are delivered.
* Offer a courteous and polite service to the our customers, dealing with requests promptly and giving accurate and fair advice.
* Support the Neighbourhood Services team in resolving tenancy management issues.
* Support the Neighbourhood Services Team in identifying, reporting and Investigation of reports of tenancy fraud and sub-letting
* Lead the recovery across all tenures of rent, service charge and other debt , including former tenant arrears, proactively and in accordance with the Association's Policies and Procedures, taking prompt action where required to ensure that, arrears are kept in line with agreed targets.
* Where required, across all tenures, take all steps in the legal process including representing us at Court and First Tier Tribunals, and present cases on behalf of the Association.
* Prepare statistics and information on patch arrears management within a reasonable timescale, as required
* Working with the financial inclusion team, Support providers, Local Authority, DWP and other external agencies ensure residents receive the support necessary to pay rents and service charges.
* Where revenue action leads to a service complaint in relation to service/disrepair claim, liaise with the Finance Department, Property Services, and Neighbourhood teams to ensure prompt resolution and facilitation of revenue recovery.
* Where required lead on the revenue recovery for any homeownership tenures within the patch in line with our policies and procedures and with legislation. This includes liaising with the Leasehold Officer, and Rent and Service Charge Project Manager to provide comprehensive responses to service charge enquires where relate to recovery.
* Be responsible for own administration, including filing and word-processing letters and reports. Where required coordinate responses to resident Subject Access Requests.

    MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to work for a National Contractor on an Ongoing Basis, based in the West Midlands.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of works programmes. Working closely with Contract Managers you will assist in resident consultation and involvement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assisting in the management of resident consultation and involvement in planned works programmes, minimising disruption to residents whilst helping to ensure that the programme does not fall behind schedule and costs remain within budget
    • Developing and delivering effective communication with residents, liaising closely with contractor staff to assist in the smooth running of the programmes and the ongoing building management
    • Contribution to community engagement plans and initiatives to counter joblessness and financial exclusion


    Ideal Candidate:

    • Present previous experience of working within Social Housing or Local Authority
    • Resident Liaison/Community Engagement capacity
    • Experience of supporting planned works programmes
    • Experience of handling challenging and complex situations
    • An effective communicator at all levels, you will be able to work proactively and independently to deliver on tight timescales

    MMP Consultancy are working with a fantastic organisation to recruit a Contracts Administrator to join them on a fixed term basis in Kent.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Have a focus on safety first with all risks identified immediately escalated to the Contract Manager
    • Provide regular updates and support to Senior Contract Manager on contracts outcomes against programme
    • Undertake regular audit of contract related information including certification (Where applicable) and develop action plans for closing works in a consistent manner.
    • Collate, analyse, monitor and report on KPIs within the contractual frameworks
    • Provide financial monitoring support and analysis to Contract manager
    • Regular monitoring of Cx Task Management
    • Monitor and report on contract management meeting actions
    • Support delivery teams in responding to written and phone enquires and update Cx as necessary.
    • Processing works orders, completions, process for payments or inspection requests in accordance with the policies and procedures and respond to general queries relating to proposed and confirmed works
    • Assist in the provision of information for the database for Stock Condition, Asbestos, Fire Risk Assessment and any other areas as required.


    Requirements:

    • Experience of data analysis and process management
    • Proven project management or contract experience
    • Ability to co communicate and influence contractors, colleagues and other stakeholders
    • Detailed knowledge of using a variety of JCT and partnering contracts
    • Proven influencing and negotiating skills to resolve problems
    • Sound judgement and prioritisation skills
