You will be required to:
Carry out to the highest standard all aspects of Roofing repairs and maintenance installations.
Including but not limited to -
* Trace and repair leaks to roofs. (Leak detection)
* Renew Tiles and slates (small areas)
* Carry out repairs and maintenance to guttering and rainwater downpipes and test gullies and report back findings. (Including using Sky vac).
* Scaffold inspections.
* Flashing repairs and renewals
* Asphalt repairs - Hot gun and trowel
* Felt repairs.
* Work with plumbers to carry out general plumbing work.
I am currently looking for Grounds Maintenance Operative on a contract basis for a housing provider based in East London. My client is looking for an immediately available Grounds Maintenance Operative.
Pay Rate:
* £16.00ph (umbrella rate)
Working Hours:
*Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Duties:
* Ensure the grounds are maintained, including, strimming, mowing and hedge cutting
* Maintain and use vehicles, plant, and equipment
* Ensure communal areas are clean and safe

A new opportunity has arisen to work for a Building and Facilities Contractor, for a Commercial Mechanical Engineer. The successful candidate will be required to complete planned and reactive maintenance to an agreed programme, budget, and quality within the company's operational targets.
Salary:
* £40,000 - £46,000 per annum
Hours:
* Monday to Friday (08:00am to 17:00pm).
Location:
* Waltham Forest, East London.
Standby & Call Out:
You will be required to be on standby for 1 week within a rotation (1 in 6).
* Standby rate for week - £178.00
* Weekday - Time and half for call outs
* Saturday - Time and a half for call outs
* Sunday - Double time for call outs
* Call out during normal working week - Time and a half.
Commercial Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
* To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance to all Plant Room Equipment as per maintenance schedules.
* Assisting sub-contractors where necessary, monitoring repairs, or helping where required.
* To carry out plant inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts, and carry out repairs to mechanical systems, such as pumps, valves, pipework etc.
* Identify faults and report issues in a timely manner. Consulting with Suppliers to obtain the necessary replacement component costs to include and labour requirements and submitting these to the Mechanical Supervisor as required.
* To attend toolbox talks.
* To always comply with the company's Health and Safety Policy and follow all related safe systems of work.
* To undertake call out duties on a scheduled out of hours call out rota as required.
* To report any vehicle malfunctions to management as soon as possible.
Qualifications Required:
* DBS Check
* Appropriate industry qualifications.
* Time served in a Mechanical/Commercial setting is essential.
* Commercial ACS qualifications is an advantage.
You will be supplied with:
* Company branded van.
* Fuel card.

MMP Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Roofer to join a social housing contractor paying £19.29 per hour CIS with a company van and fuel card supplied. This role will be working within the responsive repairs team and will be covering the Skelmersdale area.
Working Hours Mon-Fri 8am-17:00pm with a half hour break.
