Stan has recently joined the MMP team in September 2023. Despite recently joining the Asset Management, Building Safety and Maintenance team, Stan’s recruitment journey began in October 2022 when he was up in Manchester working as a 360 consultant specialising in the Mechanical and Electrical Building Services sector for UK clients. With his clear understanding of how to deliver both candidate and client need from his experience in the North, Stan is looking to continue to showcase and improve his knowledge within the Public Sector across the East Midlands.

Senior Asset Surveyor

Up to £300.00 per day

MMP Consultancy are currently seeking a Senior Asset Surveyor/Manager for a Local Authority in Buckinghamshire on an interim basis paying circa £300/day inside IR35 (DOE) for a 3-5 month long contract, working on a hybrid basis.

Job Requirements:

* Strong background working on large Commercial builds for Local Authority/Public Sector
* Experience dealing with all landlord and tenant activities.
* Ability to carry out rent reviews and property inspections.
* Ability to be client facing and manage a team of surveyors.

Fire Safety Project Manager

Up to £325 per day

MMP Consultancy are currently seeking a Fire Safety Project Manager for a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire on an interim basis paying circa £325/day inside IR35.

Preferably be a qualified candidate who has experience of working specifically with Fire Door and Fire Upgrade works.

Job Requirements:

* Strong background working on Fire Doors and Fire Upgrade works for Social Housing clients.
* Relevant experience working on large residential projects for Public Sector clients.
* Ability to upgrade buildings with fire doors.
* Proven experience managing fire safety projects from inspection to completion.

Senior Estates Valuation Surveyor

£48474.00 - £51515.00 per annum

MMP is currently working with a Local Authority in Leicestershire who are seeking for a Senior Estates Valuation Surveyor to join their team. This will be a Permanent opportunity paying up between £48,474 to £51,515 per annum depending on experience.

Role: Senior Estates Valuation Surveyor
Pay: £48,474 to £51,515 per annum
Job Type: Permanent (Hybrid)

Job Purpose:

* Taking the lead on our property portfolio as a Senior Valuation surveyor. You will deal with a complex range of property related issues covering but not limited to: acquisition and disposal of property assets, improving marriage value, compulsory purchase orders, sales and lease back, community transfers, redevelopment, regeneration and new developments.

* Providing a high level professional advice to clients on valuation issues, you'll work with internal and external teams to identify new opportunities for the council to invest and improve its property and land stock holdings. As well as, making recommendations for development and disposal to recover investment and make a commercial return on its investment.

* Preparing and monitoring expenditure and income budgets. You will be involved in inspecting land and buildings. Valuing the various interests as required and negotiating the letting, acquisition/disposal as required.

* You will also support the management of the Estates function, including attendance at decision-making boards, and deputises for the Service Manager as required. Supervising and managing staff who may be assisting on projects from other sections including allocating and checking work for quality and quantity.

Job Requirements

* Being experienced in handling a complex range of property related issues including negotiating lettings and acquisitions/disposals to ensuring optimum return. You'll use your knowledge of ethical standards and relevant legislation around land transactions specifically, council assets. To recognise new opportunities to enhance the council's asset base, being able to prepare briefing notes to senior management on complex issues, with context, impacts and recommendations. Often explaining complex issues to non-specialists in a positive manner.


* You will be also be a professional member of RICS (MRICS or FRICS).
