    Up to £35 per hour


    MMP Consultancy is looking for a skilled Asbestos Surveyor to join an house Compliance team within a Local Authority in Portsmouth, providing support with ad hoc asbestos surveys and sampling requests.

    While the P402 qualification is preferable, candidates should demonstrate competence in taking asbestos samples. You may also have the opportunity to assist in the creation of Asbestos Management Plans for various assets across region.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Compliance team with asbestos surveys and sampling requests.
    • Travel to various sites across Portsmouth as required.
    • Potential involvement in the creation of Asbestos Management Plans for different assets.


    Requirements:

    • P402 qualification is preferred, but relevant experience in asbestos sampling is essential.
    • Full UK driving license (for site visits across Portsmouth).
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

    MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced and motivated Building Surveyor to join a team within a Housing Association to oversee external wall/fabric planned programmes across Wiltshire and Hampshire.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to contribute to £1m programmes in a dynamic, rewarding environment. This is a permanent role with a salary of £40,482 per annum.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the delivery of external wall/fabric planned programmes across multiple sites.
    • Apply your strong understanding of building fabric and components to ensure high-quality work and compliance.
    • Provide technical expertise in the solution and remedy of building defects.
    • Write detailed and accurate specifications for works to be undertaken.
    • Manage contracts effectively, including KPI monitoring, monthly meetings, and processing valuations.
    • Ensure Health & Safety compliance and oversee safe working practices.

    Skills & Experience:

    • Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally with a focus on external wall/fabric programmes.
    • Strong technical knowledge of building components and construction practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a solution-focused approach.
    • Experience in specification writing and contract management.
    • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practices.
