Job Description

MMP are seeking two Housekeepers on a full time and part time basis for a specialist hospital in Surrey.

The hourly rate for housekeeping staff £11.44

Hours 37.5 per week are either 7-3pm /8-4pm 5 days out of 7 (alternate weekends) for weekend work you will be paid time and a half.

They also have a part time vacancy for the same rate of pay - Monday & Friday plus one other day (22.5 hours) plus one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday).

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
  • Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold the hospital's high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Join a small hospital is the Hampshire area as a Caretaker/Handperson

    Hours: 8am- 4pm Monday to Friday, with on-call cover (1 week in 4)
    Occasional weekends required (approximately four per year)
    Flexibility to cover 7am - 3pm shifts when needed.
