MMP Consultancy are working with a public sector organisation to recruit a Voids and Lettings Manager on a temporary basis.
The Voids and Lettings Manager will be responsible for leading and inspiring the voids and lettings service. The Lettings Manager will be providing effective leadership and support to for staff to deliver an efficient and effective end-to-end voids and lettings process. You will be able to tackle obstacles and make decisions on your own. Minimising voids periods and delivering a customer centric service with both a social and commercial focus.

* Responsible for all aspects of the service, including driving the delivery of outstanding performance, developing and coaching teams to develop and maximise their potential to deliver cutting edge service delivery for customers

* Manage and lead staff to achieve high performance and effective operational delivery, including developing and improving staff capability
* Manage a customer focused service and effective use of resources
* Ensure councils overall vision, values and ethos are central to the requirements of the service
Experience:
* Significant experience of working in a leadership role within social housing, specifically Lettings and Voids
* Strong knowledge of housing law and current housing issues
* Demonstratable experience of leading a high-performance team
* Significant experience of working within a Housing Association or Local Authority
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
MMP Consultancy are currently seeking 2 x Building Surveyor for a North West London public sector housing organisation.
Flexible working with site visits and home working. (Office attendance 2-3 days per week).
About the role
* Management of Surveying from inception to completion, creating detailed reports and specifications.
* Attend appointments as booked by the repairs administration team.
* Undertake Reports / Scott schedules as required.
* Managing legacy work initially prior to undertaking patch based works.
* Knowledge of NatFed SOR 7.1.
* Take full control of the surveying duties, ensuring the completion of works with dedicated contractors.
* Autonomy on decisions which are required to ensure quality work.
* Manage all order raising on system, utilising CRM and Northgate.
* Post inspection of works as required to ensure quality.
Essential:
* Extensive experience in delivering complex/disrepair service for social housing.
* Detailed Knowledge and understanding of pre and post-inspection processes, building pathology and repairs techniques.

MMP Consultancy is seeking a Development Portfolio Client Lead on behalf of a Local Authority based in North London. The position is permanent with a salary range of £67,794 - £75,070 per annum.
The client is seeking a high-calibre Development Portfolio Client Lead to manage key mixed tenure housing schemes. This role involves overseeing significant housing developments, interfacing with internal departments and external partners, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. You will report directly to senior Council groups and Boards, contributing to one of the largest development programs in England.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Lead and deliver mixed tenure housing developments, valued at approximately £2 billion in total.
* Collaboration: Interface with internal departments (Education, Greenspaces, Town Centres, operational estate departments) and external consultant teams and development partners.
* Strategic Alignment: Ensure consistent alignment with the Council's strategic goals and report directly to senior Council groups and Boards.

Requirements
* Experience: Proven senior management experience in delivering projects/programmes within a Local Government environment.

* Knowledge: Practical delivery of schemes from inception to occupation and project closure (RIBA stages 0-7).
* Skills: Strong leadership, strategic alignment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

* Management of Disrepair Surveying from inception to completion, creating detailed reports which are usable in court if required.
* Attend appointments as booked by the legal / case officer team.
* Undertake expert witness reports / scott schedules as required.
* Managing a high volume of work across a patch.
* Knowledge of NatFed SOR 7.1.
* Take full control of the surveying duties, ensuring the completion of works with dedicated contractors.
* Autonomy on decisions which are required to ensure quality work.
* Manage all order raising on system, utilising CRM and Northgate.
* Post inspection of works as required to ensure quality.
Essential:
* MRICS, MCIOB or Expert Witness qualified.
* Extensive experience in delivering complex/disrepair service for social housing.
* Detailed Knowledge and understanding of pre and post-inspection processes, building pathology and repairs techniques.
