MMP Consultancy currently have an opportunity for a Voids Surveyor to join a housing association. This will be an interim position paying £250-275p/d Umbrella.
This role will involve managing a patch across London. This role will be a 50% split of working on-site doing your inspections and 50% working from home.

Key Duties:
* Hit weekly and monthly targets regarding equity loan &/or staircasing completions.
* Handle customer inquiries (by telephone, email, post) in a professional and supportive manner, displaying product knowledge.
* Read and interpret leases/equity mortgages and give effective advice to customers and other key internal and external stakeholders regarding all Staircasing/Equity Loans activities.
* Log all customer contacts, maintaining accurate records using the appropriate database and case management systems.
* Collate audit compliant application packs, carry out relevant checks on shared owners if cash sums are to be used, and follow anti-money laundering procedures.
* Carry out relevant checks and effectively manage all staircasing/equity loans caseloads and help to achieve or exceed the staircasing/equity loans targets.
* Ensure that all activities are progressed in accordance with staircasing/equity loans policies and procedures and money laundering regulations.
* Support customers during the staircasing/equity loans process by providing effective advice on the procedure and keeping the customer updated on the progress of their case.
* Provide effective advice and interpretation of leases/equity mortgages and home ownership issues to internal and external stakeholders.
* Prepare weekly reports on own staircasing/equity loans activities and progressions, ensuring performance standards are met and progress is charted, and procedures are complied with.
* Develop and keep up to date with technical product knowledge and relevant legislation.
MMP Consultancy currently has an opportunity for a Building Surveyor (Damp and Mould) to join a local authority based in South London.
About the role
Title: Damp Surveyor
Rate: £45 per hour (Inside IR35) - £315 per day equivalent. 7 hours per day
Client: Local Authority
Contract: Rolling Interim - 6 months
Location: South London
Key Duties:
* Carry out full property surveys specifically concerning condensation & damp diagnosis and remedial action.
* Have reasonable scientific knowledge of the different types of mould and its likely cause & effect on residents.
* Specific knowledge of building structures and how they contribute to the cause, be able to correctly diagnose & specify remedial requirements.
* Understand and be able to use equipment to aid with diagnostics and undertaking seasonal monitoring.
* Must have an empathetic approach to our tenants and property conditions.
* Able to produce drawings & floor plans, diagnose general building faults, obtain or create specifications for improvement works required with an understanding of how this may affect other components of the property/building, and obtain competitive prices.
* Order works by use of appropriate systems and Tender/contract procedures.
* Supervise works to completion, in line with Council Health & Safety Standards and other statutory requirements
* Ability to work with minimum supervision
* Ability to prioritise workloads, analyse and resolve problems
* Ability to work alone to meet strict deadlines
* Carry out post inspections, confirm satisfactory completion, authorise payments, investigate invoice queries
* Cross-service/Partnership working liaison skills and experience
* Respond to complaints, compliments, and requests for information and consider service review and development in light of these
MMP Consultancy are currently seeking candidates for a Voids Manager role to work within a Public Sector organisation in South London. £400 per day Inside IR35.
Key Duties:
* Undertake all duties required in processing all long-term voids, policy voids and fire damaged properties.
* Line Management of specified members of the Voids Team (6 Officers)
* Manage contractors, In-house labour, consultants and suppliers to facilitate high levels of service delivery. (approx. 40-60)
* Manage customer satisfaction to high standards.
