Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Hertfordshire WD23

Hours: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday to Friday (With Weekends)

Salary: £11,898 per annum

Responsibilities:

* To undertake cleaning and domestic duties as directed by the Estates Administrator
* To complete schedules of work as required, which may change from time to time, within the scope of the position.
* To take responsibility for your own safety and that of others around you, specifically in respect of reporting dangerous practices and faulty equipment
* To be available to work overtime by mutual agreement when deemed necessary by the demands of the school, e.g. to cover outside lettings, staff sickness and for staff on annual leave. A degree of flexibility in working hours may be required on occasion
* To undertake duties of a comparable nature, within the post holder's ability, when required.
* To undertake training, if and when required, for new business demands and new legislation.

Catering Manager

Job Title: Catering Manager
Location: Ingatestone CM4
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00 Friday - 15:30
Salary: £24,210.58 per annum (actual gross salary)

An amazing school based in Ingatestone are seeking a dedicated Catering Manager. The successful candidates will be responsible for the operational efficiency, preparation and presentation of food and beverages to the required standard within the budget limitations as agreed with the school management. Maintenance of the highest standards of personnel management, hygiene and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the preparation and presentation of all food to the required school standard.
* To ensure that methods of preparation and presentation comply with current recognised catering standards.
* To order raw materials supplies, check deliveries and ensure all raw and cooked food is stored correctly.
* To ensure all cooking staff carry out the preparation and cooking of all meals to the recipe specifications and nutritional guidelines.
* To ensure all staff adheres to the portion standard yields as stated within the recipe specifications.
* Responsible for monitoring menu planning and ordering.
* To ensure the prompt service of all meals, breaks and functions provided, as required by the Business Manager.
* To implement local promotions/theme days.
* To ensure that all catering activities are carried out in line with the pre-agreed school budget.
*To ensure any comments regarding the catering operation - positive or otherwise, are noted and acted upon appropriately
*To plan, implement and review a cycle of menus to be revised at regular intervals as instructed by the Business Manager
* To purchase all supplies through agreed suppliers and advise the School Administrator of any unsolved difficulties with suppliers.

Communication and team leadership

* To maintain regular contact with the Finance Officer.
* To actively monitor customer satisfaction with food provided on a weekly basis
* To hold regular team meetings/briefings with all catering staff.
* To induct all new members of the catering staff.
* Monitoring of staff performance, providing training and development as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Experience of the preparation and cooking of food and beverages
* Experience of serving customers at the counter/hatch or from a trolley kiosk as required
* Level 2 Food Safety Certificate in Catering (Desirable)
* General understanding of the operation of a school
* Knowledge of school policies and procedures

£28000 - £29000 per annum

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Complaints Repairs Planner, based in Hertford.

The Repairs Planner will work closely with the Maintenance Team to ensure that all repairs and maintenance work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads. You will liaise with residents and contractors to ensure that all works are completed to a high standard.

Main Responsibilities:
* Manage Operatives diaries.
* Planning repairs works for pre and post inspection, reactive and emergency repairs.
* Prioritising emergency works.
* Booking appointments and allocating works to the available operatives and following works from start through to completion.
* Ensure all relevant data is updated on a timely basis.
* Liaising with tenants and Operatives to arrange repairs.
* Effectively communicate any concerns about work quality and ensure operatives have the right material to complete their work.
* Take part in meetings, supervision, training as requested by the manager.

Experience Required:
* Previous experience of working with a Housing Association / Local Authority or contractor in either a Planning, Scheduling or Customer Service capacity
* Excellent communicator, with strong organisational skills
* GCSEs at Grade C or above and including Mathematics and English
* Proficient IT skills including use of Microsoft Excel and Word Proven background in a customer service focused environment
* Experience of using database systems (Connect / Northgate / DRS)
* Construction related knowledge

Contracts Manager

£55000 - £60000 per annum

A great new opportunity has arisen for a Contract Manager to join a main social housing contractor on a permanent basis based in Hertfordshire working within the North and North West London area.

The permanent salary is £55,000 per annum Car Allowance and Bonus . You will be required to Manage and oversee Supervisors and a team of trade operatives and subcontractors whilst working closely with the Senior Management team.
