MMP are working with one of the largest Oxford colleges, we are seeking two dedicated individuals to join the Catering Service Assistants on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will work alongside an experienced management team, benefit from excellent training opportunities, and receive ongoing staff support.

Job Details:

  • Position: Catering Service Assistants
  • Salary: £25,979 per annum (£12.49 per hour)

Working Hours:

  • Full-time: 2080 hours per annum (based on a notional 40 hours per week).

  • Working hours will vary according to the weekly duty roster provided in advance by the Head of Department.

Catering Manager

MMP Consultancy are seeking a Catering Manager in the Chelmsford area for distinctive, comprehensive school. The catering role involves overseeing the preparation and presentation of food to meet school standards and comply with catering standards. Responsibilities include ordering supplies, ensuring proper storage, supervising cooking staff, monitoring menu planning and budget, and addressing feedback. Communication with finance officers and regular team meetings are essential. Leadership duties include training new staff and monitoring performance. Health and safety compliance, including reporting accidents and maintaining cleanliness, is crucial. Additionally, ensuring security of supplies and equipment, self-development, promoting the service, identifying improvements, handling cash, and fulfilling other duties as required are part of the role. Catering Manager

MMP are seeking a Catering Manager to join our private school client in North West London.

Paying £35 -£43K plus excellent benefits

Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm. All year round with requirement to take annual leave during school holidays. Very occasional weekend working / working some evenings when required to support events and busy periods.

The Catering Manager, reporting to the Director of Operations, is responsible for overseeing the in-house catering team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective food services. Key duties include managing day-to-day kitchen operations, accommodating diverse dietary needs, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and customer service. The role involves staff management, including recruitment, motivation, and development, as well as handling events catering and efficiently managing the catering budget. Additionally, the Catering Manager ensures compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations, conducts staff training, and handles induction for new kitchen staff. Regular reporting to the Director of Operations and collaboration with internal and external event organizers are integral to the role.
