HR Adviser

MMP Consultancy is currently recruiting for a Human Resources advisor - Band 6 role on behalf of an NHS Trust based in East London on a Temporary contract.

Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

Pay: £28.00 PER HOUR

Band: 6

Responsibilities:

  • To undertake any ad hoc projects as identified by the HR Business Partner.
  • To support the HR Business Partner in providing a fully comprehensive and high quality HR support and advisory service to the Trust managers and staff in support of the Workforce Strategy and business and operational planning processes of the relevant Directorates.
  • To deliver an effective and timely HR Advisory service by working in partnership with managers on HR related issues, such as those arising from restructuring and change exercises.
  • The postholder is encouraged to initiate and discuss new ideas to improve the HR service and to develop these with the HR Business Partner.

Requirements:

  • 2 years' operational HR experience.
  • Background in supporting managers on employment relations issues; previous supervisory experience with potential for leadership skill development. Experience in an NHS environment is desirable.
  • CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Level 7 or equivalent experience (or due to fully complete this year).
  • Current CIPD registration.

Fire Safety Officer

Up to £34.21 per hour

MMP Consultancy is currently recruiting for a Fire safety advisor - Band 7 role on behalf of an NHS Trust based in East London on a temp contract.

Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week - 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm

Pay: £34.21 per hour

Band: 7

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure there is compliance with all regulatory provisions regarding fire safety in all Trust owned or operated properties.
  • Conduct a program of fire risk assessments in all Trust occupied premises, working to the standards in Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Health Technical Memorandums (HTM's), Building Regulations, British Standards and other relevant documentation, to ensure the Trust and its buildings comply with current fire legislation.
  • Undertaking overarching fire risk assessments in complex hospital buildings, to ensure efficacy of shared arrangements, horizontal evacuation and compartmentation, taking in to consideration the profile of occupants.

Requirements:

  • Membership of a professional organisation (e.g. the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or the institute of Fire Prevention Officers (IFPO)
  • In-depth knowledge of Firecode, Health Building Notes, and Building Regulations Approved Document B (fire safety)
  • NHS experience.

Head of Asset Management

£58972.00 - £68525.00 per hour

MMP Consultancy is currently recruiting for a Head of Asset Management - Band 8B role on behalf of an NHS Trust based in the south of England on a Perm contract.

Please see the specific details below:

Hours: 37.5 hours

Pay: £58,000 - £68,000 / depending on experience

Band: 8B

Responsibilities:

  • Management of an extensive budget. This will include the management of external rent, rates and service charge plus management of income from tenants.
  • To ensure there is seamless workflow between the various teams involved in the delivery of projects and programmes within Estates & FM, with regards to property acquisition or disposal.
  • To engage effectively with end users and other key stakeholders, managing expectations effectively and ensuring work is coordinated effectively between teams within Estates and Facilities, other support functions (e.g. digital) and end users in the effective development and delivery of property management.

Requirements:

  • Professional knowledge plus additional specialist, management knowledge acquired through training and experience to Masters level equivalent
  • In depth financial, management, and strategic knowledge
  • Professional Qualification/Membership of an appropriate professional organisation.
  • Senior management experience. Experience of property management within an estates & facilities environment.
