Multi Trader

I am currently recruiting for Multi Trader to join a social housing contractor on a temporary ongoing basis covering Crawley. A basic DBS Check will need to be carried out if successful.

Multi Trade Duties:
* Carry out carry out a range of multi-skilled carpentry, plumbing, tiling, wet trades, and plumbing works repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, voids and occupied.

The Successful Multi Trader will be required to:
* Ensure works are completed at a high standard within given time frames
* Carry out works allocated by appointments
* Have a valid UK Driving Licence

Pay Rate:
Temp - £20ph (CIS or Umbrella)

Hours:
* 40 hours per week (Mon to Fri)

You will be supplied with:
* A van
* Fuel card
* PDA System

A great opportunity has arisen for a Plumber/Multi Trade Plumber to join a Housing Association on a permanent basis paying up to £34,000 per annum. This will be covering the Chichester, Petworth and Midhurst area. The successful Multi Trade Plumber/Plumber will be available within short notice, have social housing experience and must have a driving license as you will be supplied with a van and fuel card.

This role will be on the reactive repairs team.

Working Hours are 8:30am - 17:00pm Mon - Thurs and 8:30 - 16:00pm on a Friday

* A basic DBS will be required

MMP Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Floor Layer to join one of their Social Housing clients on a permanent basis paying up to £34,000 per annum with a van and fuel card supplied. This role will be covering Chichester, Petworth and Portsmouth areas.

This role is Mon - Fri 8:30am - 17:00pm and 8:30am - 16:00pm on a Friday.

The main duties of the Floor Layer will be completing repairs and maintenance within Social Housing properties both occupied and void.

- Excellent in Floor Laying and have experience with polysafe/vinyl flooring

- Experience within a Social Housing enviroment (desirable)

- Have access to your own hand tools

A basic DBS check will also be carried out.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Plasterer to work for a Housing Association on a permanent basis paying £32,000 - £34,000 per annum. You will be required to complete reactive maintenance within properties and communal areas around Chichester, Portsmouth, Petworth and Midhurst. The successful candidate must be willing to travel however you the aim will be to keep you as local to your home as possible.


Skills required:

* Plastering Trade Bias
* Carry out carry out a range of Plastering works
* Carry out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, voids and occupied.
* Use of a PDA to manage and record daily work.

A basic DBS will be required and carried out.

You will be supplied with:

* Company branded van
* Fuel card

MMP Consultancy is currently seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to work on an interim contract with a public sector housing organisation in North London. £42 per hour (Damp and Mould Experience preferred).

Required to travel and attend site and office.

Key Duties

* Manage disrepair cases within the organisation in their entirety to ensure a seamless delivery of service.
* Undertake feasibility reports for Disrepair claims, recognising what liabilities are under the council and what are under the tenant.
* Create specifications of work to rectify any defects or repairs.
* Managing works from specification through to post inspection
* Organised and proactive
* Able to manage their own calendar and caseload.

Experience / Qualifications

* HNC, HND, BTEC HND or higher, in a building discipline, or over 5 years of hands-on experience in related repairs surveying/ construction from a trade background.
* Experience managing legal disrepair cases.
* Good understanding of damp and structural issues
* Social housing experience (not essential) -
* Largely office based.

Role Details

Rate: £42 per hour (Inside IR35)
