Join our Estates Maintenance team as a skilled Electrician within NHS West London area. Your role includes working and testing with Electrical systems, ensuring safety compliance, and providing technical expertise. The role will be working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, earning £24 per hours (Umbrella)

Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with Electrical standards.
* Performs duties/tasks in building services engineering including installation.
* Maintenance, calibration, testing and repair on the full range of Electrical engineering and building
Estates and Hospital equipment/services
* Demonstrates problem solving skills and fault diagnosis.
* Diagnose and repair Electrical faults.
* Maintaining Emergency systems such as lighting, smoke, fire alarms.
* Manage on-site contractors.
* Perform reactive, routine, and preventative maintenance and testing.
* Maintain records and conduct repairs.
* Work in various environments, including unsociable hours.
* Participate in the on-call system.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Relevant experience.
* City & Guilds certificate or NVQ Level 3 / 2391 (advantageous)
* Health & Safety knowledge.
* Minimum 3 years in Electrical services.

Maintenance Electrician

£28759.00 - £32982.00 per annum

We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to become an integral part of maintenance team, ensuring top-tier expertise in electrical services. Responsible for responsive/planned maintenance, upgrades, and installations while ensuring compliance with standards.

Main Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day maintenance and repair of building services installations.
* Scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance.
* Installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations.
* Maintenance of access control systems (SALTO).
* Collaboration with sustainability colleagues.
* Fault finding on complex building lighting control systems.

Essential Skills:
* Recognised Apprenticeship or approved equivalent.
* Significant trade experience.
* 18th Edition qualification.
* Ability to undertake electrical system fault finding, repairs, and installations.
* Trained and Qualified as an Authorised Person LV Electrical.
* Good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act.

Desirable Skills:
* City & Guilds Craft/Technician in Electrical Engineering.
* City & Guilds Test & Inspect qualification.
* Driving licence or ability to travel/equivalent mobility.

The Role is working 37.5 hours per week, working a 2-shift system.
* Mon-Thu: 07:30 am - 16:00 pm Fri: 07:30 am - 15:30 pm
* Mon-Thu: 09:30 am - 18:00 pm Fri: 09:30 am - 17:30 pm

The successful candidate will receive £28,759 - £32,982 per annum plus a 12% shift allowance and Call-Out week standby allowance payment of £150 (1 in 10 weeks)

MMP Consultancy is seeking a Senior Estates Manager on behalf of a central London based NHS Trust. The position is to start as soon as possible for a period of 6 months, subject to extension.

The rate of pay is £37ph via an umbrella company, with an estimated weekly take home of £880 after all tax deductions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate reactive maintenance services across the trust, providing technical and operational support in the absence of the Head of Estates.
* Ensure implementation of relevant policies, standard operating procedures, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance operations, ensuring a safe and efficient environment within available resources.
* Procure services and materials within budget limits for day-to-day maintenance activities.

  • Conduct a program of fire risk assessments in all Trust occupied premises, working to the standards in Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Health Technical Memorandums (HTM's), Building Regulations, British Standards and other relevant documentation, to ensure the Trust and its buildings comply with current fire legislation.
  • Undertaking overarching fire risk assessments in complex hospital buildings, to ensure efficacy of shared arrangements, horizontal evacuation and compartmentation, taking in to consideration the profile of occupants.

Requirements:

  • Membership of a professional organisation (e.g. the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or the institute of Fire Prevention Officers (IFPO)
  • In-depth knowledge of Firecode, Health Building Notes, and Building Regulations Approved Document B (fire safety)
  • NHS experience.
