Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen to work for a national contractor for a Plumber on a permanent basis paying £36,000 per annum plus call out this will give potential earnings of up to £42,000 - £45,000k per annum. The successful Plumber will be required to complete reactive maintenance within properties and communal areas in North West London. The successful Plumber must be willing to travel however you the aim will be to keep you as local to your home as possible.
Pay Rate:
* £36,000 per annum plus call out (Potential earnings of £42k - £45k)
* Call out - £12.50 per day (standby) and £25ph (per call out)
* Mandatory - 1 week on call per month
Plumbing Skills required:
* 1st and 2nd fix Plumbing
* Repairs and maintenance within social housing properties and associated works
* Use of a PDA to manage and record daily work.
Qualifications Required:
* NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing/ or City & Guilds
* Basic DBS Check

Roofer
MMP Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Roofer to join a social housing contractor paying £19.29 per hour CIS with a company van and fuel card supplied. This role will be working within the responsive repairs team and will be covering the Skelmersdale area.
Working Hours Mon-Fri 8am-17:00pm with a half hour break.
Job details:
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Undertake repair/renewal roofing works
- Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents and line manager
- Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements
- Remain up-to-date with technical and legal requirements of skill area
- Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required
- Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA
Hold a trade qualification in Roofing
A basic DBS check will need to be carried out if successful and a UKATA OR IATP Asbestos Awareness course will be required.
