Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen to work for a national contractor for a Multi Trade Carpenter on a permanent basis paying £36,000 A compulsory 1 week on call per month paid at a standby and hourly rate) with potential earnings of £40k . The successful Multi Trader will be required to complete reactive maintenance within properties and communal areas in London. The successful Multi Trader must be willing to travel however you the aim will be to keep you as local to your home as possible.
Pay Rate:
* £36k Basic
* inclusive of a compulsory 7 nights Out of Hours emergency cover per month, paid at a standby and hourly rate with potential earnings of £40k .
Multi Trade Skills required:
* Carpentry / Plumbing
* Tiling
* Basic Plastering
* Fault finding and ensuring satisfactory fault rectification
* UPVC repairs and maintenance
* Double glazed unit replacement
* Carpentry such as kitchen repairs, hanging doors etc
* Use of a PDA to manage and record daily work.
Qualifications Required:
* Basic DBS Check

MMP Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Roofer to join a social housing contractor paying £19.29 per hour CIS with a company van and fuel card supplied. This role will be working within the responsive repairs team and will be covering the Skelmersdale area.
Working Hours Mon-Fri 8am-17:00pm with a half hour break.
Job details:
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Undertake repair/renewal roofing works
- Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents and line manager
- Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements
- Remain up-to-date with technical and legal requirements of skill area
- Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required
- Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA
Hold a trade qualification in Roofing
A basic DBS check will need to be carried out if successful and a UKATA OR IATP Asbestos Awareness course will be required.
