MMP Consultancy is currenlty partnering with a leading Housing Association based in London in their search for a Director of Asset to join their senior leadership team.

Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, you'll take strategic ownership of Asset Management and Building Safety, playing a critical role in shaping the future of the organisation's housing stock.
Purpose of the Role:
You will lead the strategic and operational delivery of asset reinvestment and building safety programmes. This includes ensuring compliance with key regulations such as the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Regulations, and Decent Homes Standard. Working closely with internal teams, local authorities, contractors, and the Building Safety Regulator, you'll ensure the organisation's housing stock is safe, compliant, and fit for the future.
Your leadership will directly impact resident satisfaction and safety, while also protecting and enhancing the organisation's property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Leadership:
- Develop and lead resident-focused programmes that improve property performance and safety.
- Proactively identify and manage risks related to building safety and asset management.
- Foster continuous improvement in strategies, policies, and systems.
Financial Oversight:
- Lead procurement processes for contracts, tenders, and partnerships, ensuring full compliance.
- Forecast and manage multi-million-pound budgets aligned with organisational goals.
- Deliver cost-effective asset management solutions that demonstrate value for money.
- Monitor and control expenditure while ensuring strong ROI.
